Scott Williams began his fire protection sprinkler career as a field helper during the summer months of 1980. From there he continued this work path through the remaining years of high school and into his college years at Virginia Commonwealth University.
After college Scott joined the sprinkler field as a full time fitter and the true journey began. He was soon promoted to foreman and within a few years he transferred to the design department which advanced into a design manager position.
In January of 1994 he began employment with Virginia Sprinkler Company which is now known as VSC Fire & Security. From 1994 he has worked for the company as a designer, field superintendent, estimator, department manager and currently as their Vice President / District Manager for the Richmond office. In 2018 he joined the Board of Directors for VSC.
Scott carries a NICET Level IV Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology and has assisted or served on the AFSA-Burn Survivors Golf Tournament committee for over 15 years.
